Christiane Grefe

Christiane Grefe, born in 1957, attended the German School of Journalism in Munich and studied politics. She works as an editor and reporter in the Berlin editorial office of ZEIT. She deals with topics such as technology, economy, ecology and nature. For her book "The Global Countdown", which was co-authored with Harald Schumann, on the effects and perspectives of globalization, Christiane Grefe received the award "The Political Book" of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in 2009. In 2016, her book "Global Gardening - Bio-Economy: New Exploitation or Economic System of the Future?" published by Antje Kunstmann.
