Faith Alubbe

Faith Alubbe is a leading Kenyan expert on land rights and land governance and has worked closely with women and local communities for nearly two decades. She has headed the Kenya Land Alliance since 2019. Previously, she served as Programme Officer for the Transitional Justice Program at the Kenya Human Rights Commission, where she supported marginalised groups — including rural women, widows, and internally displaced persons — in defining, claiming, and defending their land and property rights. Earlier in her career, she worked as a human rights lawyer with the Coalition on Violence against Women and the Federation of Women Lawyers, advocating for stronger participation of women in leadership and political decision-making.

Alongside her professional responsibilities, she remains active in local initiatives and provides pro bono legal support to residents of Nairobi’s informal settlements and rural areas.
