Marcy Vigoda

Marcy Vigoda has served as Director of the International Land Coalition since 2025 and has worked for more than 30 years on issues such as development cooperation, agricultural transformation, sustainability, and international partnerships. Her career began as a consultant in Canada and Bangladesh before she took on senior roles with CARE International in Asia, Africa and Latin America. There, she oversaw programmes in natural resource management, community forestry, food security and local governance — always with a strong focus on rights, gender equality and political impact.

She later headed global partnerships and resource mobilisation at the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), working closely with governments, multilateral organisations and civil society. Most recently, she served as Director of the SUN Movement Secretariat, where she further strengthened the links between nutrition, food security and climate.
