Camara Castro

Castro Camara serves as assistant project coordinator at Amka Africa Justice Initiative, an independent non-profit organisation in Kenya focused on access to justice. He is a final-year law student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and previously served as the president of the JKUAT Legal Clinic, a club dedicated to social justice. Camara advocates for fair treatment in the legal system, defending women's land rights and human rights in his community. He is committed to expanding access to justice in land, agricultural, environmental, and climate change and adaptation law across Africa.
