Fatoumata Goundou Sissoko

Fatoumata Goundo Sissoko is a Malian expert on women’s rights, climate resilience and sustainable natural resource management. She is President of the Réseau des Femmes pour les Droits Environnementaux au Mali (REFEDE-Mali), a network of around 40 organisations founded in 2013. Her work focuses particularly on women’s empowerment, their participation in environmental decision-making and equitable access to land and natural resources.
