Julia Harnal

Julia Harnal comes from a family of farmers and completed her Master's degree in Agricultural Science at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel in 2001. In the same year, she joined BASF and has since held various positions in Germany, France and Canada. She is currently Vice President Public Affairs for Agriculture at the Limburgerhof site. In addition, Julia Harnal has been Co-Chair of the German Agribusiness Alliance (GAA) for Asia and Country Spokesperson for India since 2019. She was recently appointed to the Private Sector Advisory Group of the FAO and is a permanent member of the Strategic Monitoring Group of the initiative "A World Without Hunger" of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
